Today was snowy :D I watched Santa Claus 3 this morning, did some art then went to work, tagging clothes! lol I'm so excited for the boxing day sales! When I got back I had a mince pie and cream and some hot chocolate and marshmallows, it was smashing XP whilst watching Corpse Bride, gotta love the work of Tim Burton :P lol Now I'm watching this programme about the noughties, what an eventful decade! Can't believe it's been 10 years since the year 2000!
Hey :) yeah Fashion Design is loads of work at Leeds but it is really good fun, you have like 5 different modules in the first year; Garment Tech where you make samples of collars, bodices, sleeves etc. Design Development where you have to look at trends and different shops and create a collection based on one of the trends and the style of a shop. Digital Design where you learn about how to use photoshop and illustrator and a History of Art module. Patterns and Culture (which is in the 2nd semester) where you have to learn about different cultures across the world and their influence on art and textiles. Anddd you have to pick an elective which can be anything you want like a language, music etc. I think that's everything!! It is hard work but like it's fun too and you make loads of great friends :)
